What is Astragalus?

Astragalus is a perennial plant native to Northern and Eastern China. It has been used in Chinese folk medicine for centuries and is considered to have adaptogenic properties as well as support the body's natural defenses. BareOrganics Astragalus Root Powder is derived from organic Astragalus Root, providing a whole food source that can be mixed into smoothies, teas, and more.

Why Use Astragalus Root Powder?

Astragalus has been used in traditional Chinese medicine for centuries, with the earliest recorded reference found in Chinese medical literature from 400 to 200 BC. It has many purported health benefits, including immune-boosting, anti-aging and anti-inflammatory effects. It is considered an adaptogenic herb that is often used to make teas, broths and soups.

Was looking for a clean adaptogen to add to my morning routine and this one checks every box. It's USDA certified organic and non-GMO, which matters to me, and it dissolves fine in warm water with just a little stirring. Two weeks in and I'm sleeping better, though that could just be the routine.

Carter M. ★★★★★
