What is Astragalus?

Astragalus is a perennial plant native to Northern and Eastern China. It has been used in Chinese folk medicine for centuries and is considered to have adaptogenic properties as well as support the body's natural defenses. BareOrganics Astragalus Root Powder is derived from organic Astragalus Root, providing a whole food source that can be mixed into smoothies, teas, and more.

Why Use Astragalus Root Powder?

Astragalus has been used in traditional Chinese medicine for centuries, with the earliest recorded reference found in Chinese medical literature from 400 to 200 BC. It has many purported health benefits, including immune-boosting, anti-aging and anti-inflammatory effects. It is considered an adaptogenic herb that is often used to make teas, broths and soups.

Victoria Q. ★★★★★

Grabbed the bundle instead of a single bag and I'm glad I did, it's way better value for how much I go through. Mixes into my morning tea without clumping, and knowing it's organic and non-GMO matters to me.

Jason E. ★★★★★

I've been stirring a scoop of this into my morning smoothie and it dissolves way better than the loose powders I've tried before. Nice to have the gluten free and non-GMO labels actually spelled out on the bag too, since I'm picky about what goes in my kids' food. Two jars lasted me almost three mon

Zoe ★★★★★

The bundle pricing makes sense since I go through this stuff quickly, and the powder is fine and mild enough to mix into smoothies without ruining the taste. Knowing it's certified organic and non-GMO gives me peace of mind for daily use.
